Research direction:

tRNA biology, viral hepatitis and liver cancer

Personal profile:

At 2021, he successfully defensed at M.D. in Pathogen biology at Erasmus medical center (EMC). At 2019, he acquired a doctor degree of Agriculture at Sichuan Agricultural University (SICAU). Since 2019, he started to establish a research group at SICAU where he previously studied. His researches concentrated on viral hepatitis in animals and humans, as well as liver cancer. As the importance of tRNA in central dogma and modern life science, his research lines are not only well-integrated with biomedical research in both pathogen biology and cancer biology, but also tRNA biology. Now, his researches were funded by both scientific research project of Sichuan province (2020) and National Natural Science Foundation of China project (2021). Both concentrated on tRNA molecules. It is hoped that with our efforts in basic research of tRNA biology, we would create novel tRNA -based strategies to regulate mRNA translation and possibly apply this knowledge into clinical practices using tRNA-based therapy.
